Clearinghouse

Where people in need contact us and we in turn get them connected with local churches and agencies that provide them with assistance.  Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am until 4 pm.  Phone number is 248.693.HELP (4357)  All Ministry help needs a referral from the Clearinghouse.

Clothing Ministry – Located at St. Mary’s in the Hills Episcopal Church

2512 Joslyn Rd. – Lake Orion, MI (next to Canterbury Village)

New or gently used clothing for children and adults.  Hours for drop off of clothing are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9 am until 12 pm (noon).  Hours to pick up clothing are on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 12 pm (noon) until 3 pm.  Must have a referral and voucher from the Clearinghouse in order to shop for clothing.

Household Goods Ministry – (Bed, Blessings, & Beyond) – Located at Christ the King Church

1550 W. Drahner Rd. – Oxford, MI  (west of M-24)

Household and miscellaneous goods such as pots and pans, dishes, glasses, bedding, towels & washcloths, small appliances, blenders, toasters, microwaves, etc.  Hours for drop off of items are Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9 am until 12 pm (noon) and shopping for items on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 12 pm (noon) until 3 pm.  Must have a referral and voucher from the Clearinghouse to shop for items.

Little Luxuries – Located at Christ the King Church

1550 W. Drahner Rd. – Oxford, MI

Everyday necessities such as: soap, colognes and perfumes, deodorants, make-up, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoos & any hair care products, shaving supplies, feminine products.  Hours for drop off are on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9 am until 12 pm (noon) and shopping for items on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 12 pm (noon) until 3 pm.  Must have a referral and voucher from the Clearinghouse to shop for items.

Transitions

Love INC of NOC has an on-going Employment Networking and Career Guidance Program called “Transitions” which meets weekly on Friday mornings at the Oxford United Methodist Church @ 21 E. Burdick St. – Oxford, MI from 9:30 am - 10:30 am.

This is a faith-based employment networking group being offered to all individuals who have found themselves without work during these difficult times.  Area pastors have offered to be a part of the group on a rotating basis.

This is also an opportunity for employers or companies seeking qualified individuals to come and share information.  Many individuals have obtained gainful employment as a result.  Our Transitions group is currently in need of a Facilitator, if you are interested, or for more information about this group, contact the Love INC office at 248.693-4357.
